We are seeking to appoint a Project Manager within the FOIE GRAS Marie Sklodowska-Curie Action Innovative Training Network – ITN (implementation mode: European Training Network ETN, reference 722619) and also within mtFOIE GRAS Marie Sklodowska-Curie Research and Innovation Staff Exchange Network – RISE (reference 722619) within the Framework Programme for Research and Innovation HORIZON 2020 (2014-2020) in accordance with the provisions of the Grant Agreements concluded between the European Union, represented by the Research Executive Agency, and the host institutions, to provide day-to-day management of a research team consisting of several Early Stage Researchers (ESRs), Staff, and Principal Investigators from universities and academic institutions, together with biotechnological companies and one patient association, located in Austria, Italy, France, Spain, Germany, Czech Republic, Poland, Portugal and UK.
In close collaboration with the Coordinator of both projects, Dr. Paulo Oliveira, the selected candidate will handle coordinating, administrative and financial tasks, such as the production of technical and financial reports, deliverables, organize different events and secondments, and contact the different members of the consortium. Also, the selected candidate is expected to provide the overall management of the projects’ websites and social media, including the regular update of the dissemination of network outputs (e.g. publications, presentations, patents, technical notes).

Applications must be submitted by June 10. Results will be communicated before July 1, with the contract initiating in July 7, 2020. We accept applications with a Master or Doctoral degree, although the latter is preferred. Candidates with previous experience in the management of European or National projects (P2020, H2020, QREN, other) will be benefited. The criteria for evaluation will be as follows: Previous experience, based on CV (70%), letter of motivation (10%), letters of reference (10%), knowledge of English language (10%). The evaluation panel will be composed by Dr. Paulo Oliveira Dr. João Ramalho-Santos and Dr. Anabela Marisa Azul (Dr. Elsa Henriques and Fernanda Borges (alternate jury).
The position will be until the end of project, initially predicted to occur on December 31, 2020, but expected to be prolonged to June 30, 2021 upon permission from the European Commission.
The salary scale will be 1.497,75€ (Gross salary) equivalent to senior technician under an employment contract with uncertain term under the Labor Code.
