Physics and Mathematics
Masters in Physics, Physical Engineering,
Technological Physics Engineering,
Mathematics or other related masters. If the qualification has been granted by a foreign higher
education institution, it will have to be recognized by a
Portuguese higher education institution, under the terms
of article 25 of Decree-Law no. 66/2018, of 16 August,
which approves the regime recognition of academic degrees
and diplomas of Higher Education, awarded by foreign higher
education institutions, and of paragraph e) of paragraph 2
of article 4 of Decree-Law no. 60/2018, of August 3,
and any formalities established there to be completed
by the date of the contracting act. Candidates who comply with the provisions of paragraph
a) of paragraph 1 of article 2 of the Research Fellow's
Statute are eligible, as amended by Decree-Law
no. 123/2019, of 28 August, and also paragraphs 1 and 2
of article 6 of the Regulation for Research Grants of the
Foundation for Science and Technology.
The candidate will integrate the work of the project
in one or more of its three components:
study of models that predict particles of
ultra-light dark matter, study of black hole shadows
or study of gravitational waves.

The work will be developed at the Research and
Development Center in Mathematics and Applications,
of the Mathematics Department of the University of
Aveiro, under the scientific guidance of
Doctor Carlos Alberto Ruivo Herdeiro ............
Duration of the fellowship (s):
The fellowship will have a duration of 10 months,
starting on 1 October 2020, possibly renewable up
to the limit of the project's execution period.
Amount of monthly maintenance allowance:
The amount of the grant corresponds to € 1064.00,
according to the table of values ??for monthly
maintenance allowances, set out in Annex I of Regulation
The selection methods to be used will be the following:
Curricular Evaluation and interview,
with the respective valuation of 70% and 30% respectively.

Form of publication / notification of results:
The final results of the evaluation will be published
through a list ordered by the final grade obtained posted
on the University's website, within a maximum period of
90 working days after the final application submission
date, and the candidate (the ) approved (a) notified by
e-mail, with a period of 10 working days, foreseen by
the Administrative Procedure Code, being set for the
purpose of prior hearing of interested parties.
At the end of the period fixed for the hearing of
interested parties and, in the case of the absence of any
response from them, the list of candidates' ranking will
become final. From the final decision, candidates can
lodge a complaint within 15 working days, or appeal to
the maximum executive body of the financing entity within
30 working days after notification of the final decision,
in accordance with Article 12 of Regulation of Research
Grants of the Foundation for Science and Technology.
