§ Master degree of Science in Software Engineering.
§ Research experience in developing interactive systems and computer graphic applications:
such as Sketch-Based Interfaces, Blendshape animation, Geometric Surfaces and
Workplan: The research work will be carried out in the scope of the tasks defined to RL2 -
Health data collection and visualization of the Project NanoSTIMA – Macro-to-Nano Human
Sensing: Towards Integrated Multimodal Health Monitoring and Analytics.
The work will focus on advancing the state-of-the-art of interactive articulation of the 3D avatar models. Major goal of the research will rely on combining the traditional interaction techniques to deform the model with novel physics theories to obtain life-like deformation effects on the model surface. Besides, environmental interactions such as contact and collision techniques and additional optimization techniques will be explored within the scope of the research.
Legislation and regulations applicable: A fellowship will be celebrated according to the regulations defined by FCT “Regulation of Instituto de Telecomunicações’ fellowships” and ”Research Fellowship Holder Statute”, in accordance with Law no. 40/2004, dated August 18 (Status of Scientific Research Fellow), as amended and republished by Decree-Law No.202/2012 of August 27, and as amended by Decree-Law No.233/2012 of October 29 and by Law No.12/2013 of January 29, and Decree-Law No. 89/2013 of July 9, and also by Fundação para Ciência e Tecnologia, I.P.
