Job summary:
A call for bids for a research grant (BIPD - Doctor) is open within the scope of the R&D institution, Psychology Research Centre - CIP, of Universidade Autónoma de Lisboa, with reference UIDB/ 04345/2020 and the financial support of the FCT/MCTES through national funds (PIDDAC).

Job description:
Admission requirements: Ph.D. in Psychology (obtained in the last three years) and First Degree in Psychology;
Preference criteria:
- Publication of scientific articles, as first author, indexed in scientific journals;
- Experience in data analysis;
- Fluency in writing in English.
Work plan: Collaboration in bibliographic review, data analysis and writing of scientific articles within the scope of the “Transcultural Factors of Well-Being” Project.
Applicable laws and regulations: The scholarship is awarded under Law No. 40/2004 of 18 August, updated by Decree-Law No. 123/2019 of 28 August (Statute of Scientific Research Fellows), and the Regulation for Research Grants of the Foundation for Science and Technology, I.P. in force https://www.fct.pt/apoios/bolsas/regulamento.phtml.pt.
Workplace: The work will be carried out in person at the premises of CIP - Psychology Research Centre of Universidade Autónoma de Lisboa, Rua de Santa Marta, 47, 3rd floor, room 304, under the guidance of Dr Iolanda Galinha.
Duration of the scholarship (s): 6 months, starting on April 1st 2021, eventually renewable.
Monthly maintenance allowance amount: The scholarship amount corresponds to 1,616 € according to the scholarship amounts table directly attributed by the FCT, I.P. in the country (https://www.fct.pt/apoios/bolsas/valores).
Selection procedure: Three candidates who meet the admission requirements and according to the preference criteria will be considered for interview. Candidates will be evaluated according to the following considerations: curriculum evaluation (70%), interview (20%) and motivation letter (10%).
Composition of the Selection Panel: President: Dr Rute Brites; voting members: Dr Iolanda Galinha; Dr Pedro Almiro. Substitute member: Dr Sandra Figueiredo.
Disclosure/announcement of results: candidates admitted for interview are invited by email. The final results of the evaluation will be published by means of a list ordered according to the final grade obtained, in a public place on the website of Universidade Autónoma de Lisboa (www.autonoma.pt). The selected candidate will be informed by email. All applicants will be informed of the decision by email.
Application deadline and form of submission: The call is open from February 8th to March 8th 2021.
Applications must be formalized by sending a letter of application and the following documents: Detailed Curriculum Vitae attesting the candidate's experience, copy of the qualification certificate and motivation letter. Applications must be sent by email to cip@autonoma.pt, and must include the reference of the call in the subject field BIPD _2021_1 UIDB/04345/2020.
Failure to send any of the documents required in the application constitutes grounds for exclusion.
Appeal period: After a final decision has been made and candidates have been informed, appeals must be made within 15 working days, or sent to the highest executive body of the financing entity within 30 working days.
