The work to develop will be focused in high energy physics aspects considering possible connections/synergies with the aforementioned areas. Depending on the candidate’s scientific profile and CV, the main objective is to build and perform phenomenological analysis on new physics models, focusing, for example, in signatures at colliders experiments, dark matter and gravitational waves observables as well as baryogenesis. Possible connections to Grand Unified Theories can also be studied. The candidate’s expertise in using software tools and analysis techniques adequate to his/her scientific profile will be valued.
Legislation and applicable regulations: Statute of the Scientific Research Fellow, in the wording given by Decree-Law No. 123/2019, of August 28; Regulation No. 950/2019 of 29 November, published in Diário da República No. 241, 2nd Series of 16 December (FCT Research Scholarship Regulation, I.P.); Decree-Law No. 66/2018 of August 16 (Legal regime for the recognition of academic degrees and higher education diplomas awarded by foreign higher education institutions).
